Throughout the last decade Rory O'Neill has refined a learning experience for the amateur & youth handler.
The curriculum covers the entire process of showing an Arabian halter horse. All levels of ability and experience can grasp what is shared with them. The fastest growing segment of the halter arena is the Amateur to handle division. This division will continue to grow in the foreseeable future. Some horse trainers don't feel comfortable coaching amateurs. Some even attempt to instruct and become frustrated or even worse the student is confused & frustrated. Overcoming the fear of the arena or understanding what my trainer is saying when my

schooling session, is sometime the item preventing the amateur from succeeding. We feel it's our responsibility to
educate all levels of handlers and exceed their expectations. Some of our handlers
compete at class "A" shows and other are contenders for National Championships. The most gratifying situations are the ones that take a total newcomer to our breed and watch them become a accomplished handler. Often times, Rory is asked to assist other trainers with their family member or their clients when a problem or bump in the road occurs. Many times at the horse show we find people following our client around the arena rail eavesdropping on the clear positive instructions Rory is communicating during the class.
In recent years the Rory has branched out to share his technique with a larger group. He has been asked to give clinics all over the U.S. and at his farm in Scottsdale, AZ. O'Neill Arabians LLC again will offer this year several Clinics at their new location and we have been booked at several farms and clubs for the 2007 show season. Look for updates on our NEWS link. We encourage the Amateurs to contact us to locate an ideal Amateur horse partner. We offer lesson programs to suit everyone's needs and abilities.
